I just did this test with my 6.5 Creedmoor 21" barrel, H4350 started at 41.7-43.3, but I did 2 rounds per each load. I found the velocity didn't change much between 42.5, 42.7 and 42.9, they were right at 2795-2804 fps.
I just ordered 200 of their 6.5 Creedmoor from EuroOptic last week. to shoot with the Lapua I already have.. I am sure if they want to hang with the big boys like Lapua or Norma they will need to make very high brass to complete with those big name.
I marked the loose primer and put a dap of super glue to make sure it won't pop out and discard it after shoot. I had primer popped out and it jammed the trigger and it not fun to removed it out.
Agree, at least give JP a change to look at it first. They are good company and I am sure they will not let you down. I used to have APA build AR308 that will shoot .220" without the suppressor and 1" with suppressor. We found out later on that the quick detach mount caused the group to opened...
I always do the light crimp on the gas gun. I separated my .308 brass because I have one lot for bolt gun and one lot for gas gun. I just want to be safe.
I'm about to do the same thing and happened to see your post. I'm gonna start at 44, 44.5, 45.0 and 45.5 with my bolt gun to get the best accuracy first.
From military reloading manual for M80 ball 149 gr bullet, they used 46 gr of WC846 which military version of BL-C2 seat at 2.80". I would start at 44.0 and work up.
This is the scope I want to finish my build. It will match my Choate Ultimate Sniper stock very well. A Counter Sniper scope on top of Ultimate Sniper stock.
Thanks for sharing. I'm glad I bought some IMR 4064 as a back up of the Varget. I'm gonna try this load with Lapua brass with 41.9 of 4064, thanks again Dan.
My LC loaded bullet measure at .337 at the neck so I use .335 size bushing. I would order .333, .334 and .335 because you may switch to another brand of brass and may need smaller size bushing.
I recommend the gunsmith to do the threading job. The thread need to be perfectly inline with the suppressor and not too tight or too loose (your suppressor will be put on and off thousand times during the life of the rifle).
Re: 300 blackout sbr build questions
I got Noveske 10.2" with Ops Inc model 12th and love it. I feed it with 220 SMK with A1680 at 10.6 gr or 208 a-max with the same powder charge with the same great result. It cycle perfect and the bolt locked up nicely. The rifle also runs good with...

I just had the boxes of ammo switched, the brass after firing looks like a 308 brass now.. I won't take...
