    super trickler

On the ST website is says their FX scales are pre programmed to work with the ST. I’m not a tec wizard so paying a little extra to have everything jive from the manufacture is No big deal. I understand after receiving the unit lots of reading and experimenting come with it. for those that had...

    super trickler

Hey all, Getting ready to pull the trigger on a ST. Are there any advantages or disadvantages to ordering the FX120i scale along with the ST vs sourcing the scale somewhere stateside? Thanks

    Ruger Precision Rifle Discussion

I’ve been pretty happy with my RPR Timneys. Happy enough that I bought one for each rifle (6.5, .223, 22lr). Definitely an upgrade over stock.

    DeLane Development Group Rimfire Ventures

I couldn’t even chamber cci and aguila in my new v22 without significant force on the bolt. That was an unpleasant surprise. ordered an eley match lot test batch and the 3rd round stuck in the chamber and wouldn’t extract. Trying to get this thing broken in then sent off to lapua

    Building the Perfect Reloading Room

super slick! I like how your version can be climate controlled in the cab. Anyone else reloading in the field? what have you learned from this technique?

    Building the Perfect Reloading Room

tried out the mobile reloading bench the other day. Worked pretty well. Winds were calm and not messing with the powder scale too bad.

    Tac Ops Rifles

I knew back in May 2020 when this thread started I would be in trouble. When I first caught the precision rifle fever back in 2008ish, I discovered Tac Ops rifles on the old Sniper Central forum. I was hooked, but such a rifle at that time for me was out of reach. I went out and bought my...

    Building the Perfect Reloading Room

Thanks! I just watched a bunch of YouTube videos and decided on the dimensions. Ripped the cleats on a table saw using 3/4 inch plywood. I measured each piece of equipment or groups of tools I wanted shelves for and made those out of 1/2 inch ply. It’s pretty functional in that whatever I...

It contains the circuitry for the on/off switch and variable speed control.

    Building the Perfect Reloading Room

Good catch. Though I wouldn’t suspect the propane to spontaneously combust, I have moved the powder and primers for at least some peace of mind. Another plug for the flexibility of French cleats. on that note, the house previously on this grounds had been taken out by fire so I’m sensitive to...

    Building the Perfect Reloading Room

It was about as miserable as you might imagine. 3 person job and done before the floors were in. That safe is the biggest I could get up the stairs and through the door. It will stay with the house if I move again.

    Building the Perfect Reloading Room

I just moved to a new build and this was suppose to be an attic. I’m 87% done with the project and am quite pleased. More pleased that its 3 steps away once I roll out of bed. Wall storage is using French cleats which I’m now a big fan of. Thanks all for the inspirations.

Did you know about Erik Cortina's other YouTube Channel?

I'd love to have one of these some day just for the ergonomics alone. There's something to be said for using quality equipment when spending all that time invested at your bench. I know I enjoy the process so I can think of it as investing in myself :). Lots of nice gear out there. Some day.

    Ruger Precision Rifle Discussion

Right on! That’s pretty cool. Love my 6.5 RPR. Haven’t played with the 223 enough to know either way. always kinda had the itch to get into a magnum. I figure if I decide to go that way I’ll start with a RPR maybe 338.

    Lowlights Comp thread?

Just daydreaming here... Maybe some day, the SHC would be the ”Oshkosh” of the precision rifle world. If your not familiar with Oshkosh, ask anyone involved with aviation or pull up a YouTube video. Basically, at such a match, there would be something for anyone interested in any of the...

    Lowlights Comp thread?

West coast Mamoth style match maybe? Seems a match like that is self regulating. By that I mean a “practical“ rifle and kit (weight vs. capability) means equipment you have to haul around and live with/from for a couple or few days. Maybe some caliber restrictions for the targets sake...
