I had the same thing happen with my et6245fg with the g2 reticle. Bushnell replaced it. Their lifetime warranty is legit. I am concerned that this seems to happens so frequently with their reticles.
I called Bushnell and asked if I could have one from their local outlet store if they had one in stock instead of waiting until August. The rep said she'd find out and get back with me. She called back and said I could pick one up at my convenience.
Follow up. I dropped it off on April 10th for repair. I called today and was told they plan to replace it but it is on back order until August. I have some shooting trips planned in May and June.
Ive been dealing with sciatica, piriformis, and knee pain for years. The only thing that has ever helped is strength training and working on my posture. Never skip leg day, especially if you sit on your ass for a living.
It eats me alive that our Constitutionally-protected passion is now pricing many of us out of the market. I look(ed) forward to spending many years teaching my sons safe and responsible marksmanship at a reasonable price.
Wouldn't I be better off returning it and getting a new one than having them "repair" it and shortly thereafter my 1 year return window closes on a possible lemon? Then, I would be at the mercy of their warranty.
I have a stupid question. I bought my Bushnell 6-24x50 back in 08/2013. It mounted nicely on my .308 and I installed a vortex bubble level on it at the time. I have since fired it 4 or 5 times. A week ago when I shot it, I noticed my reticle and the vortex bubble level weren't jiving. I figured...
I've been lusting after those 16.5" 700's for a while now. I'd like to drop one into a MDT LSS or Whiskey X-ray chassis to keep it light and compact at a decent price.
I dig this idea and would like something like this on my McRee but I'm not crazy about the $96 price. Does anyone know of any alternatives or similar products? Has anyone used one of these?
