Broken/Missing Trigger Shoe Pin on Timney 532

I have had the trigger pin on a Calvin Elite 2 stage walk out of the housing. Didn't loose the pin though... Re-installed the pin an a piece of scotch tape on both sides of the pin and the problem was solved. Sucks to have a new rifle break down on the first outing....

    MDT 223 Steel mag issues

Tried the MDT, Accurate, and AI metal 223 mags in MPA chassis, none of them worked reliably. Went back to the ugly as homemade soap Magpul 5.56 AICS plastic, at least they work all the time.

    6mm ARC (Bolt Action)

Loaded up some Hornady 110 grain A Tip's that were given to me for my Proof SS 26" barreled Origin MPA chassis. Crazy good accuracy in the sub quarter MOA range. I don't test velocity when testing grouping so I loaded a few more rounds of the powder combo it shot really well to test velocity and...

Mesh net to catch brass fired in yard? Anybody using one?

Clothes line with a tarp on shower curtain hooks. Move the tarp next to where you are shooting, slide it down and out of the way when you are not shooting.

    Whole House Fan

I have had a quiet cool whole house fan for about 4 years now. It is about as loud as a running dishwasher, no problem sleeping with it running. Just watch the temperature outside, when it gets to within a few degrees of the inside temp, open a few windows a couple of inches each. The fan will...

    Sig Sauer Service Sucks

FYI... The cheap allen wrench they give you with the Romeo Zero red dot is to INSTALL the red dot. The size of the allen head screws on the underside of the slide (to remove optic plate cover) are different than the screws that are provided with the red dot sight to install it. Stupid, but...

    Expressions I hate

The overuse of the word "Fundamental". Seems like every problem is "Fundamental" and the cure is to "Fundamentally" change things.

    lithgow la101 22lr

The one I tested out shot very well, a little better than the CZ's and Tikka's I have tested. Trigger is heavy but crisp. Feeding/ejection were solid. Takes CZ mags. A good hunting rifle IMHO. Not much (if any) aftermarket support if you want to gussy it up.

    Tikka T1x trigger assembly diagram

An AR-15 bolt catch plunger spring works excellent!!!!!! No modification required, just swap out the springs and you have way lighter adjustment. Very consistent as well. If more people knew this, YO DAVE would never sell another $9 spring and charge $12 for shipping!

    Tikka T1x trigger assembly diagram

Sounds like your trigger spring plunger may be installed backwards. This will cause excessive over travel and failure to re-cock if I remember correctly. I learned this when I accidentally installed it backwards one time.
