    Ruger MKIV Magazine Loader

I find that a little blast of aerosol oil and a shake to distribute it in the hopper allows the cartridges to slide appropriately and negates the wax build up issue. Plated ammo certainly works better than waxed lead ammo. It is not perfect, but about as perfect as we have right now...

Suppressors WTK: Best 45 acp Suppressor to purchase

I am sure if TBAC made a 45 can someone on here would say it is the best.:sneaky: Of the 45 cans I have tried/used/been around most of them are pretty identical for sound suppression given they are similar size. Get what you like with the features you like. I am currently running a SiCo Omega...

Suppressors 13.5 LH to 1/2x28 Adapter

True, you could be fighting the left hand vs. right hand thread thing. Loctite or Roksett one side and this fixes that issue. In my opinion the correct way would be to set it up as a 3-lug attachment. Kind of expensive with the Wolfman though...

NEW From Zermatt Arms - RimX Actions

I have always measured edge to edge from the black circle around the bullet hole, then subtracted one bullet diameter. Measuring the hole will always be smaller than the ring around it where the bullet "wiped" the target. I think this is what some are seeing. Absolutely incredible results...

Best suppressor for 22 and 17hmr

Most of the quality steel/titanium rimfire cans are pretty close in sound performance. What you get with the Dead Air Mask is in my opinion the quietest out there currently (I have tested over a dozen rimfire cans). The best thing in my opinion about the Mask is how easily it is to disassemble...

    Suppressors current rimfire options

I have five rimfire cans. Of your choices the Mask is the nicest one for sure. I have a Halcyon also and it is nearly as quiet and easy to clean. The Halcyon is modular and can be configured in a short or long configuration. My Halcyon "loosens" up and requires occasional tightening down of the...

NEW From Zermatt Arms - RimX Actions

Might have been my barrel you tested.... John said he touched up the crown while he had it then tested it with SK+ and sent it back to me with a target. Since it's return it has behaving quite well.

Red dot for 6" Volqartsen Black Mamba. Need advice

That Freedom RDS is nice for an AR, but it would be very bulky on your Mamba... Maybe a Delta Point Pro?

NEW From Zermatt Arms - RimX Actions

Seems to be all over the board on this subject. Proof Research originally said 65-85FT/LB, then later they corrected and said 50-60FT/LB. Keystone accuracy said manufacturer's specs were 50-70FT/LB. My action didn't like anything over 50FT/LB as the bolt became hard to close. I think it is a...

Stock question for the RimX guys?

Zermatt RimX 22LR Review - Bartlein, Benchmark, GM, Krieger, Lilja

Lothar Walther called yesterday and said that the relief cut on the shank at the end of the threads was not quite to proper spec. They fixed it and the barrel is back on the way to me in less than a week! Very good communication and customer service from Lothar Walther!

Zermatt RimX 22LR Review - Bartlein, Benchmark, GM, Krieger, Lilja

It wasn't shooting to my satisfaction accuracy wise. About as good as I could get was 1.5 MOA @ 50 yards.... This was after testing several types of known excellent quality ammo, something just wasn't right, not sure what, but I am confident they will figure it out.

Zermatt RimX 22LR Review - Bartlein, Benchmark, GM, Krieger, Lilja

Didn't check the headspace when I first installed the barrel. When I went to test it out it would only fire once in 5 or 6 attempts. I stopped trying to shoot it and then checked the headspace with the gauge provided with the Rim-X action and the bolt closed easily on the no-go gauge. Not sure...

Zermatt RimX 22LR Review - Bartlein, Benchmark, GM, Krieger, Lilja

I received my Lothar Walther pre-fit last week, and it looks nice. But the headspace was very excessive, so back to LW it went. They were apologetic and sent a return shipping label and promised a quick fix.

I don't have a way to post pics of the targets, but the better ammo was only marginally better than the cheap stuff I already tried.
