    I went a little overboard on the Super Beast but I was trying to make something that would work well on Cheytac type cases too. If you watch the videos from the 300wm to 338 Lapua it closes the gap on the 5 port Beast brake and I suspect up near 100grs of powder it will be better than the 5 port...

    If it's close you can flat sand the back and do it yourself, not my recommended route but it works. 24tpi is .0416" per revolution or just over .010" per 90 degrees. If it's not within a few thou I would use peel washers or pay to have it timed. Most people can time a brake in 15 minutes or less...

    You could also take a gunsmith rail, mill the bottom at the MOA you want with some notches to lock into the old rail, and then drill and tap your action to lock it down. That would save your existing rail but it would look a bit cheesey.

    My new Super Beast brakes are done

    Well I finally got the newest of the litter done. It's a big SOB as you can see in the picture. On the left is a APA Fat Bastard and on the right is a T-4 Terminator. It's 1.235" diameter and 3.52" long. Weighs 7.2 ounces with 5/8x24 threads. BTW for reference a FB weighs 6.5oz and a T-4...
