    LS ... unfortunately I don't. Some purchase a BDL stock off of Numrich. These are good walnut stocks with the right configuration with the exception of the forearm, which needs to be worked to the proper shape.

    IMR 4895/69 Sierra for Service Rifle?

    4895 is excellent and is my go to powder. Just be aware that IMR4895 is temperature sensitive so pressure will increase in hot weather. Is why I use H4895 (is temperature insensitive).

    Looking for some tools to make my reloading easier?

    I have a Thumler's tumbler and use SS media for cleaning. I think it does a better job of cleaning brass vs. the vibratory kind of tumblers. Can't say it saves time though since brass needs to be rinsed and dried afterwards. Since you have a Giruad trimmer, why would you want to get a case...

    Here in PA just fill out a form (5-10 minutes), PICs check (fast if not too busy), pay, and leave with purchase. Am so glad i moved from NJ!

    USMC ... thanks for the info! Looking at a photo fo the receiver and I can see an electro-penciled "N05 MK1 (F)". Will do more research as you suggest. On with owner ... has the lightening cuts under the handguard, correct large hole in bolt, step under the ladder sight, peephole site...

    School me on M1 Garands

    Am in the process of rebuilding my M1. New wood from Dean's Gun Restorations that I just completed refinishing, rifle is at Shuff's getting reparked, trigger tuned and new barrel. When it returns I will be installing all new springs and install new wood. WooHoo!
