    Re: Hunting in Nevada? As a resident your odds are better than the rest of us. Depending on how picky you are I don't think it takes alot of points on some units. The better units take alot of points and or luck. I think your about a month late if you didn't get put in this year.

    Re: MIlitary Powders I run it in 308 as well. Excellent results with 175's . 168's and 155's My.155 amax load uses lc brass and 46.0 Runs great in my ar-10 and bolt guns.

    Re: Rifle for my son. My kids used 243. With 80 soft points. For deer. And 85 tsx for elk. The 100 gr bullets are too hard and don't expand in deer that is why the woundmaster comment above.
