Re: Bill Wilson ( Is it worth it? ) I've been very happy with an Ed Brown, and would buy another.

    Suppressors Best non 1911 .45 for duty/carry?

Re: Best non 1911 .45 for duty/carry? Purchased a Sig 220 over 25 years ago, couldn't begin to guess at the rounds that's have been thru it with no problems at all. Can't speak for quality today, but mine, and a 230, have given exceptional service.

    Suppressors New 1911

Re: New 1911 You may enjoy looking at Ed Browns offerings. Yes they're costly but extremely reliable, not too bad too look at either. I have many rounds thru one and have never regreted the purchase. If they would offer the Executive Carry in aluminum I'd buy another.

Rifle Scopes We no longer sell Premier Heritage riflescopes

Re: We no longer sell Premier Heritage riflescopes We have heard one side, but if this is as it appears, the site Moderators may want to consider implementing a permanent band on Terry Dean, and a warning to Premier. I can understand both sides positions, but I can not condone the...

Hunting & Fishing Suggestions for a hunting sight upgrade... ?

Re: Suggestions for a hunting sight upgrade... ? Hunted with an 870SP synthetic turkey gun for many years, and hunted all game with this one gun. Later tried several optics and a red dot but found I just prefered those beads.

Hunting & Fishing Would this bow work for me?

Re: Would this bow work for me? Pick a quality bow, used will save you some money but I prefer to buy new as I know that bow hasn't been missused. I agree with previous posters to let bow pick you, what feels good and is of good quality. Also agree that arrow selection shouldn't be taken...

Hunting & Fishing Ethical Distance for Whitetail

Re: Ethical Distance for Whitetail We often see deer crippled or with gangrene that have been "shot at" by spotlight across long bean fields. So as it seems your intentions are good, limit yourself by your knowledge and ability. As a start, examine your cartridge for energy and stay above...

Hunting & Fishing Best turkey load at what range?

Re: Best turkey load at what range? I use 5's, but have used 6's with equally good results, 3" 12 g to 50 yrds, though I prefer to have him a little closer. My buddy still uses 6's with his 2 3/4 12 g. Usually Winchester, but like the Hevi-shot too. Don't think the shot matters if it's on him.

Maggie’s The Flying Gun, ugly but effective!

Re: The Flying Gun, ugly but effective! One characteristic I haven't seen mentioned is the sound, it sounds like flatulence. I'm not saying this to be crude, but that it does have that distinct burst sound if anyone was wondering at the noise it made when shot.
