    Re: 3-15 For Gas Gun I can't comment on the Leupold, but I love my Weaver 3-15x50. Don't think it gets much better in the price category and magnification range. It's not compact and it's a heavy scope if that matters to you.

    How have you modified the front end? Any tips or tricks? I'm going to get one of these and want to remove the ugly beaver tail. Using the great Google search, I've seen some folks do great work rounding the front end of these off and I would love to do the same.
