    Re: Smith and Wesson M&P15 for 3 gun? STI makes a rifle for 3 gun you can pick up for around $1100. I use one as my backup 3 gun and it shoots just about as well as my $2000 custom. The only thing I don't like is I tend to short stroke the trigger on it but that's user error from not using it...

    Re: Need advice on a short range scope I've used an Eotech with 3x flip that has done very well in up close and out to 300 yards shooting. You won't be knocking the X out of bullseyes consistently but you will be putting rounds into dinner plate size areas at any distance out to 300 with ease.
