that's probably one of the most common "shooter" induced malfunctions i've seen with the glock, and that's with the extended or standard release...it happened to me quite a bit in the past until i made adjustments with my grip....

oh forgot to mention that it has multi comm option, noise cancelling, and noise magnification...plus many options to complement most any LEO or military tactical op, including for helos, jumping, diving, remote features, etc...

check if your insurance plan covers physical therapy...i've been using orthotics n believe in them...but i went to therapy and discovered a few stretches and exercises that seemed to work for me...BTW, i have gov insurance as well n my plan covered orthotics...
