    on a remington 308 milspec,the twist is 1 in 11.25.now shooting a heavier and longer bullet, wouldnt a 1 in 10 or 1 in 9 be better?a faster spin? whats the thinking towards this twist? (1 in 11.25)

    i have a remmington 700 milspec 308,i bought a used 8x32x56 benchrest scope.im gonna buy a nightforce 20 moa base plate and 1.125 nightforce rings.I dont shoot really no more then a couple hundred yards or so.ya think thats to much base for this gun?i might shoot longer ranges if i get that base...
