    Appreciate the review @steve123 I have a couple Athlons, and really like the ETR. Crisp clicks on the elevation adjustments. The cheaper Athlon has mushy turrets but does okay on a rifle that doesn't get used a lot.

    I'm in WA state, and any decrease in fuel price will likely be offset by an increase in the State gas tax. Our gas taxes are high, but CA is higher. Locally about 3.76 a gallon, but prices vary widely across the state. https://taxfoundation.org/data/all/state/state-gas-tax-rates-2024/

    Did you put a good chamfer on the case mouth? What is the neck diameter with a bullet seated? You might try a bushing that gives .001-.002 tension from what your loaded round measures.

    @BigDog00 A properly headspaced Ackley Improved barrel will have ~.004 crush fit on a new parent cases, so you shouldn't have to seat the bullet into the lands.
