    Re: Pathetic "what should I build?" question Consider .284 Win loaded long like 3.1" or so. 180 VLD from Berger or JLK at around 3000 fps and you are getting 338LM trajectories out to 1500m. Really. Less horsepower but trajectories are there. Going to build one for my self at some point.

    Re: Reloading 284 Win rounds long ? Redding Reloading told me per email that according to SAAMI specs the 6.5X284 Norma is just a .284 Win with a thinner bullet. The minor changes on the shoulder area happen because the O.A.L of the brass stays the same but bullet diameter changes.
