    Re: Which Vais brake to order midway does. I used calipers and the outside diameter of my bbl at the end was .820. i was thinking the .875 by 2 inch.

    I am looking on Midway USA's site and see a few differant VAIS Brakes for 308. I have a Rem 700 .308 VTR with the heavy bbl and reading all the differant brake outside diameters and so forth I am confused. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance John

    sizing issues..

    Re: sizing issues.. I had close to the same prob. I put some lube on a q-tip and lightly lubed the inner neck and haven't had a prob with it hanging up while pulling the brass out of the die. Chambered fine since.
