    Re: .338 LM + Forster Coax, Dillon 550??? Monte, I don't know with any certainty that what I'm suggesting is workable, but Wilson has a 50 BMG version of their trimmer available. Seems to me that the chassis must be longer on that trimmer. If so and available, it could be a bolt-on.

    Re: what to trust? Wiping the copper damping vane with alcohol will remove static build-up there, also. If you have a static problem, try grounding the body of the scale. Because the of the non-conductive bearings, grounding may not be fully effective.

    Re: Am I crimping the right way? F%$&!! Taper crimping should not be INTO a cannelure. This type of die is quite often used where a light crimp is preferred or no cannelure is extant. Taper crimping is necessary for auto handguns so that the cartridge can headspace on the case mouth.
