resize new brass?
Re: resize new brass? no. unnecessary work hardning of the brass. it wouldn't hurt anything to run it through a Redding body die, but a FL die with an expander ball will effectively take one round from the life of the brass every time it is sized.- montyb

Re: What triggers will fit in an AICS stock i am running two Jewel triggers in AICS stocks just by cutting excess length from the trigger cross-pins. the pins are made with very thick heads and more length than needed past the "C" clip slot.- montyb

Re: Tumbling loaded rounds to clean sizing lubricant i do it all the time. in fact i have a batch of ammo in my tumbler right now. it gets the sizing lube off and cleans them up. i don't do it for more than an hour. i use Walnut to clean up empty brass, and corncob to clean up loaded ammo...- montyb

Re: What happens if... you could do it. you would have to shim the BDL metal with washers or the like and bed around it. the sides and rear are not too much different around the circumfrence, but the front tang is quite a bit longer on the M4/M5.- montyb

Can a bullet be overstabilized??
Re: Can a bullet be overstabilized?? i shoot 55 grain V-max bullets to 500 meters from a 1-7" Hart .223 barrel with decent accuracy. that twist is about double the suggested twist for that bullet. they don't quite hang with the 75 A-max but they don't do to bad if the wind isn't howling.- montyb

Re: low power/compact/lots of adjustment/turrets? i sent a Leupold 1.5-5 VXIII back and had a M1 elevation knob installed. sounds like it would fit your needs. it is on the lower rifle in this pic. it has something like 120 MOA elevation.- montyb
