Rifle Scopes Ran out of windage sighting in scope

But you could flip them 180* and tighten them from the other side. Get some comfort on the rings that way.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Carry knife preferences

Junglas, anything else is unprepared ;) But seriously, I beat the crap out of my carry knives, cut crap with them bend serrations, etc. So I usually carry a $20 Kershaw or similar day to day. Out in the woods, or hunting, I'll have a couple of ESEEs and/or a few other nicer knives on me.

    Gunsmithing NFA Engraving

Many, laser engravers have difficulty achieving (or at least guaranteeing) the minimum depth. I've heard of just a handful who claim they can do it reliably, and will guarantee it, and it takes multiple passes to get there. I'm sure there are more that can do it than I know of, but my...

Range Report Can you make this cold bore shot? --Poll

I would hit "something" in such a scenario. At least 90% of the time, that would be the backstop. For me, 500m coldbore all else being equal to what you propose.

    300 blackout help

300blk makes very little extra velocity over 11.5. It is fast burning. You will lose a bit in a 10.5, but I'm not sure if it is enough to throw off the sight drop compensation.

Hmm. Yes a few names seem familiar to me. Couldn't get my first choice of names, length restrictions. (For islandermyk: that's what she said)

Oddly, only one part on there is from Mile High Shooting. Waiting on a Reaper, the version that attached to the TOMB brake, not the direct thread. Gotta get this threaded, and put a tomb on this and my 300WM, which is already threaded.

Need help deciding on a purchase

Man, as much as I would love to have a DTA, and I'm sure you would too... I don't know anyone who couldn't have used more cash sometime throughout college. I'd hold the money, you have extra now, but part or half way through you won't any more. JM2C

Rifle Scopes schmidt and bender 3-20 reviews

It looks like it might be 30mm? Compared to the usual 34mm? Maybe the pics are deceiving. Been trying to figure out what glass I want to top my new 6.5grendel with, as its almost back from the coating shop. Appreciate these reviews and will check back for any others. Was also considering...

    First time shooting for groupings

Or you measure from the middle of the hole on each of the two furthest holes. Same result as mentioned above. I find that I do better when I try not to worry what is "good". At 1.5", you do have room to improve before you are out shooting the rifle. So use this experience as your mark to...

How do my primers look? 6 loads tested

Also: If they were new, you were fine not full length sizing, though I always do. They are now fire formed either way. If you got them second hand already fired, then you should always full length size.

How do my primers look? 6 loads tested

Primers show no signs of over pressure that I can see from pics. Make sure the rest of the brass looks good, and if you want to be really anal compare high charge empties with low charge empties with a good caliper.

Westminster now... But I've been all around the metro area throughout my life. P.S. This post took two days to get approved in moderation.... How long do my posts have to be approved before I can speak directly? I spent the last two days scouring FAQs and sticks for the info, but I got nothin.

    FNG From Denver

Howdy. I have a few friends that are on here, so figured I'd join up. A bit about me: I've been shooting for 9/10ths of my life, my father started me young and I have continued to this day. I've been hunting winged critters and big game longer than I can remember. I have shot...
