    Told this at the UPS hub

    I was recently told by the manager of a UPS Store that he couldn't ship a rifle scope because they don't ship firearm components. He then looked up the regs and it states specifically that riflescopes are fine as long as they are not attached to a barrel (his wording not mine) so he shipped it.
