Gunsmithing Looking for muzzle brake maker...
I bought a really superb 5 port stainless brake for my . 375CT in early January. I want to buy another brake to serve as a blast baffle/brake form a form 1 suppressor, but I accidentally deleted our pm thread and don't remember his username. 24" or 26" 300 win mag out to a mile?
You will be pushing it. A SMK 240 gr behind 75 gr of Western Magnum or 70 gr of XMR3100 (all precautions apply,reduce by 10 % and wrk up in 0.5gr from there; Fed 210m primers and bullets 002" off the lands. The first load gives me 2750fps; the second 2900(!)GPS with no pressure out of my Remmy...- zenbiker

Re: Do you ever take your Can off? Hell yes. One of the chief reasons for suppressor degradation is condensation inside the tube corroding carbon steel.
