Where to get ammo now post

Scored at Bruno’s in Phoenix. They had a pretty good selection of 22lr in stock.

    Parallax Issue?

I agree a lot with that statement. I can move a group an inch easy with parallax set even just a little off at 50 yards. Here’s a perfect example from my last time out. My first groups were with cci, and the targets on the right. I thought I had the parallax set correctly but I didn’t. Every...

Bergara never fails to impress me

The quarter is covering number 5. 😂 J/k, good shooting!!!

    Cz457 MTR

So today I wasn’t feeling it at all. I started off by not setting my parallax. Then the target was moving ever so in the wind and I wasn’t picking it up in the scope. This wasn’t my best shooting. Plus I had my kids. I’m going out tomorrow and will give it an honest effort. But here’s the...

I didn’t think I was going to like the stock either. I was pleasantly surprised though. I love it!

Sk standard plus will do that in my rifle. It’s on the cheaper end of the good stuff. It will hold mid .3s at 50.

    Cz457 MTR

Cci standard will shoot .5s for me all day long. That’s pretty good for cheap practice ammo. I wouldn’t expect Remington corelokt to shoot .2s out of my custom rigs.

I scored some Sk biathlon this last weekend. Anyone have experience with this through the 457? I’m hoping to shoot it this weekend.

    Cz457 MTR

I only have 500 rounds through my 457 mtr currently. The wind won’t freaking stop blowing. 😔 I’ve only shot 50 yards so far, but with cci standard it will hold low 4s, and it will shoot low 3s with Sk standard plus. Hoping to get an appointment with lapua to test there stuff in it soon. That...

    CZ 457

Of course it decided to get breezy today. But it was fun shooting with my kids. The rifle really likes the Sk standard plus. Not my best shooting, but I was also dealing with twin 9 year olds cracking away at their rugger 10 22. I started with a zero. Then I shot top right going left. Middle...

I have not been able to find any 10 round mags either. But I need too.

    CZ 457

I joined the club finally. I’ve wanted or for a while now, but couldn’t justify it. Ammo prices finally broke me. Cz 457 mtr varmint, area 419 30 moa rail, area 419 bolt knob, yodave trigger spring, atlas bipod rail and bipod, seekins med rings, Burris xtr ii 5-25 mil. Taking it out today. Scope...

    7 saum

I like the lack of factory ammo for the 7 saum. Keeps it kind of special really. Not everyone is capable of having one, due to the inability or unwillingness to reload. I have an appreciation for all cartridges, but the 7 saum is one of my all time favorites.

Shoulder Bump - what am I doing wrong?

It didn’t hurt anything. Load em and shoot em.

22-250 heavy bullets for coyote hunting.

I see a grown man who has a childish can’t lose attitude, is what I see. I never once called you out and said your way was wrong. In fact I agreed with you, without being a d!ck. I offered a simple alternative, that also has its advantages. With your logic we should all be using 50 bmg’s...

22-250 heavy bullets for coyote hunting.

FYI, I’m not trying to win a battle either. But there really is more than one correct way. What would you say, if I said that using a truck to get to your coyote spots was all wrong? 😉

You act like you’re the only one that takes it seriously. More than one way to skin a cat.

22-250 heavy bullets for coyote hunting.

If you can’t call them in under 300, then you aren’t calling right. Do me a favor, and look at my post. Longs shots, I agree heavy is the way to go. Short shots, fast and flat is the way to go. Not brain surgery. Heavy bucks the wind better, which is a good thing. Fast and flat takes the...

22-250 heavy bullets for coyote hunting.

It depends on what kind of coyote hunting you’re doing. If you’re glassing dogs up and trying to blast them from a distance, then sure by all means go heavy. If you’re calling them in, then lite and fast is the way to go.
