Is there a gray area between a SBR & a Pistol or is the definition cut & dried?

Actually the link you posted does not say that all. you might want to read the what that link goes to. The burden of proof sadly is on the buyer of the receiver if he/she wants to avoid a court case. The Burden of proof is on the prosecution for a conviction. The ATF has never lost a case I...

Is there a gray area between a SBR & a Pistol or is the definition cut & dried?

It's actually really simple. The issue you are having with it is the same issue a lot of folks have so don't feel bad. An SBR is a rifle with a barrel less than 16", or ANYTHING MADE FROM A RIFLE with a barrel less than 16". You can take a pistol and go back and forth. But you sadly can not...

No a rifle can NOT be made into a pistol. A rifle made into a pistol configuration is an SBR.

Muslim no go zone in Sydney Australia

At least the muslim population there is assimilating to the new area and culture they chose to move to to be a part of. Like here in the US.

Clearly reading comprehension isn't for everyone. But that's ok.

    Stupid question

One will over hang over the recoil lug. The other should be flush with the front edge of the receiver. Hanging over will give you more real estate for mounting optics. But if you are running something like a WTO switch lug it would interfere or anything else that could be in that spot..

    Bartlein New Barrel Material 400MODBB

JGS reamer, second chamber it has ever cut so not likely. I don't have another 338 blank on hand to try at the moment. But It's not impossible it could be the reamer.

Leftist women and the LBGWYHONBBQ are panic buying guns.

A shop owner would have to be a complete moron to do something that would trigger a lawsuit like the bakers. As an FFL, the ATF gives me the right to refuse service to anyone if they make me think the sale should not go through. All I have to say is I didn't feel comfortable. If I said it was...

KYaggie said the few he encountered were nutz and that may be true for some. I have had several trans customer (one couple might make the avg gun owner look like a lefty). All that I have encountered seemed pretty much not that special. The couple even own NFA stuff and some of it really cool...

    Bartlein New Barrel Material 400MODBB

It got very warm. I had stop a bunch of times to let it cool down. I just cut another 6.5 creedmoor yesterday....like butter compared the BB steel. When you say shouldn't take much more pressure, are you running manual or CNC? I just wonder if you are referring to things like spindle load vs...

    6.5 Creedmoor Brass NOT CHAMBERING

I stand corrected you are right. Why should I have brass fit all my rifles when I can have it only fit one. What was I thinking.

    6.5 Creedmoor Brass NOT CHAMBERING

It is possible you may not be sizing right, could be a die issue? Without a case gage you just don't know. I used a redding competition die... it wouldn't size the base enough to fit a case gage.....I called redding. Redding said and I quote "case gages don't matter, if it fits YOUR chamber...

Bushing fit great. It started cutting fine but once it got past the shoulder it just got tougher and tougher.

    Bartlein New Barrel Material 400MODBB

I just found out about 400BB last night. A customer supplied one and they say it feels different to cut....that is (or was for me) an understatement. I would love to hear from some other smiths, their experience on cutting these (especially on a manual machine). I will say this was a 338LM...

    6.5 Creedmoor Brass NOT CHAMBERING

"mossberg" enough said. There ere several reasons I don't sell mossberg rifles in the store. you should get a case gage for every caliber you load for. You can get away with just sizing brass that was fired in one rifle and loading it for THAT rifle. I have about 4 6.5cm and more of each cal I...
