    RemArms Sloppy Warranty Repair

Why did the OP not consider just making a stake mark on the end of the pin itself? Simple and effective. Takes only a minute.

    Hornady Comparator Readings

What he said. If can get the bullet to fall out of the barrel holding it upright....you didn't put enough pressure. You kind of need some good contact.

    6.5 Creedmoor Barrel Life

I just shot out a 6.5CM barrel. I was getting just over 2800fps. Got almost 3,000 rounds out of it. I am cheap so I had a 260 rem custom shop barrel that I don't even remember where I got it....so I took about an inch or so off and made it into a CM. Wife just had spinal surgery so I haven't...

    Terminus Action Review / Observations

I have built on a few Terminus actions and all have been stellar. Finally doing one for myself as we speak. I haven't seen anything like the OP describes. I have three more on the shelf in my shop waiting for the right customers and would sell them over pretty much anything without hesitation...

    Recording Spotting Scope?

That accufire set up looks neat. The set up I ended up sticking with is the Leopold sx4 with the go pro and phone scope. This is a screenshot of some video at 421 yards. Those turkeys are about 9" tall IIRC. You can even see the vapor trail as the bullet is impacting the target in the video.

Can a lead sled reflect the accuracy of my rifle and load?

Nothing wrong with trying it. just don't be surprised if it does or does not make a difference.

Can a lead sled reflect the accuracy of my rifle and load?

Honestly it's not a simple question to answer. Kind of yes and no. A sled WILL take the human element out of the equation. But the recoil could cause accuracy issues in a sled vs a person with good recoil management. If you .223 is in a good heavy chassis and you have a solid bipod and a good...

    Hiperfire Rem 700 trigger

Not trying to bash but I have tried a few diff triggers and nothing comes close to a trigger tech diamond (although I have a few specials as well). I have to honestly ask, how could it possibly be better than a TT diamond?

    Load Development - Process

What I find funny is how all you guys argue and say you would rather spend your time shooting than testing and loading. I really just don't understand that. I would rather be reloading and then testing than just shooting. what is the point of shooting if it isn't to test something??? you guys...

    Load Development - Process

I just did something like that for fun, I took 100 rds of factory berger 140 gr hyb 6.5cm ammo and pulled half the bullets and seated them at a depth a KNOW my rifle likes with SMKs. Shot 10 5 shot groups of each.......

Remember, it's how they are raised.

I don't know. I take my dog to work everyday. He gets upset if he doesn't get to go. We jump in the truck and as soon as the truck fires up he puts his paw on the window switch and puts the window down and out the window his head goes. He is 2 1/2 and been taking him to work since the day I...

    Load Development - Process

I would say you are not since you just said it does matter. Same rules would apply though. Charge weight first. Then he mess with seating depth. Even if in his case seating may or may not help depending on his rifle. I still wouldn't suggest playing with seating depth until charge weights are...

    Load Development - Process

Short answer though is no you can't do both at the same time. Too many variables. Do one thing at a time to make sure THAT is the thing making the difference. But charge weight is much more important that minor changes to seating depth so charge weight def comes first IMO.

    Load Development - Process

My favorite idiots are the ones who say "seating depth doesn't matter, just load to mag length". Right now for fun I am testing a bunch of diff stuff at diff seating depths and filming it to show the difference. I may share it if it doesn't end up seeming boring. I don't worry about MAX...

Check all Communications- scammers in the wire

I got scammed once. Now I want to check and verify everything. There is someone here who has something I want to buy. No feedback but an old old account with almost no posts. Seems like a lot of red flags but a paying member. so I did reach out. Still planning on buying but not until after...

Ace barrels vs the rest bartlein brux ect...

I just ordered 2 22LR blanks because they said 12 weeks but they also said they were thinking they might be able to sneak them in faster. I heard how bad those springfield 2022 RF rifles were so I grabbed one....it is trash. So I want to see how well a decent barrel will make it shoot.
