    Re: Savage owners If it comes with a plastic one just replace with a steel or stainless one. they're pretty cheap and savage will sell you one as well as midway and probably many other places.

    Re: Light weight hunting scope? The Zeiss that weighs 19.75 oz is the 4.5-14x50 with target turrets the 4.5-14x44 with hunting turrets weighs 17.5 oz according to my specs source.
