    Re: ID'ing Douglas vs WOA barrel? It's a Douglas. Cle means compass lake engineering as others have posted. compas lake chambers blanks, and they do alot of Douglas. Woa is another barrel maker that chambers barrels, they do not make blanks. They do mostly shillen barrel blanks if I remember...

    Re: Rings or unimount base? It is my opinion that unimounts really are the way to go on AR style rifles where the optic may be removed and exchanged with a different type on a regular basis. I don't buy any of the idea that they are useful because if ur scope goes down in the heat of battle...

    Ok, I understand the what barrel twist rate is, and how the idea of a faster twist helps to keep heavier bullets stable in flight better.     Parts off to APA for first custom build!
