    Tac Ops Rifles

Feeling pretty good about these 169 SMKs out of the Delta after seating them deeper to see if feeding improved from the internal magazine. Powder charge and primer same as above - projectile is seated 2.172 at the ogive with a COAL of ~2.825 with no feeding issues, but I'm probably right at the...

    Tac Ops Rifles

I'm testing out Sierra's new 169 grain SMK projectile in the Delta: 43.22 grains of Varget CCI #200 primer FGMM once fired brass 169gr SMK seated 2.207 at the ogive Problem is the COAL is 2.865 which is too long for the internal box magazine, causing feeding issues. They shoot pretty well...

Magnum LRP in "standard" cartridges - reasonable component conservation?

As other have said - I'm using CCI #250 LRP magnum primers in my 6.5Cm with very good results.

    Tac Ops Rifles

What Choid states above - here's the old Youtube video sleuthing the FGMM 168 and 175 cartridge: Here are my recipes for my two TacOps rifles: Lima 51 with 22" Krieger barrel 43.1 Varget 168 SMK @ 2.207 ogive CCI BR 2 or #200 primers in FGMM brass ~2630 fps Delta 51 with 18" Krieger barrel...

Rimfire Gone: Sako Quad 22lr w/ Lija Barrel and Manners Stock

I like the Vudoo better - the Rem 700 footprint let me build it as a M24A2-ish clone. The Quad shoots about as well as the Vudoo at 50 yards but the Vudoo is better at 100 yards which is the distance I shoot most often. And I don't need two 22lr rifles.

    Tac Ops Rifles

Who is the TacOps owner in Boston? I'm in Southeastern MA

    Tac Ops Rifles

Yeah, MA is not a great place for longer range rifle shooting. Copicut is 300, Ames is 300. Granby did go out to 1050 until the town shut down that part of the range.

    Tac Ops Rifles

Woodcock rifle range in Dartmouth MA. This is a no thrills place - uncovered with beaten up benches and rusty metal folding chairs, but it's 500 yards.

    Tac Ops Rifles

Just like my other TacOps rifles - fantastic. At the 500 yard berm, I was laughing every time I pulled the trigger and saw the top plate swing. That Delta is easy to shoot and becoming my favorite. Interesting thing is I threw together a load using some older powder and bullets that were...

    Where "Backorders" actually work ...

I've had the same experience with Creedmoor Sports. Over the last three months I've received 22 centerX LR ammo and reloading components that were backordered. It's a nice surprise to suddenly see the email "your item has shipped".

    Autotrickler V3 - CE Products?

Question for any folks running just the autotrickler system: How are you manually dispensing the initial powder charge - with a scoop or some other method? I have an autotrickler coming (not the auto throw). I currently use a Harrell Culver dispenser and Redding trickler. I was wondering if...
