    How many people turn necks?

In my no turn neck guns I clean it up 75%. On my tight neck guns I give it about 1.5 thow of clearance on each side. Example- 7 mag has a .307 neck. .284 bullet plus .010 brass on each side. Loaded round measures .304 Is it worth it? I think so. You cant contribute all your accuracy to one...

Why no aluminum block in some stocks?

Whats wrong with glass bedding? NOTHING! I wouldnt hesitate to put a barreled action in bedding compound. Benchrest does it all the time. Go for it if its what your budget will allow.

Need HELP: POI shifting throughout course of fire

Might be time for a new tube. Doubt its the NF and if everything is tightened down not sure what else it could be... I would start a slush fund for a new barrel if you want more accuracy out of this gun.

Looking for a base .300 Win Mag to mod later. What do i look for?

If it were me looking to ease into this beast.... I would find a cheap donor 300wm rem 700 and start buying parts a little at a time. A stock here, barrel there, trigger...... you get the point till I can have a gunsmith put it together for me.... my .02

    Tactical Bolt Action Rifle Suggestions

My advice would be to find a local gunsmith that you can chew this over with. He may have several stocks and even some rifles for you to man handle...... If there isnt anything local, give GreTan Rifles a call or Scott Harrold with Quarter Minute Magnums a call. I have a rifle from each of...

Why not a 7 Rem Mag?

Cant go wrong with a 7 mag. Its the classic round that made the Remington 700. I use RWS Brass for mine and it is of excellent quality. combined with 180 Berger Hybrids and H4831sc, you cant miss.

    One Heck of a Decision!

They are all great rifles. Browning X is my first choice. Cant beat the '06 either. I thing it would be a great duo. Next would be the winchester in a 243. Small, handy rifle for beating the brush........

Selecting a Neck Size Bushing with once-fired brass

You need to measure a loaded case neck then subtract .001 from that. That will get you in the ballpark. go .002 smaller if you want more tension. Dont size the entire neck either. Leave a little portion of the neck unsized to better help with case/bullet alignment. Good luck!

Neck sizing resulted in full resizing after the 5th magnum case reload

I always FL resize and do not think it harms accuracy at all. I use a redding with a neck bushing. Just size it to where it bumps the shoulder back .001 and adjust the die to only size about 3/4 of the neck. you will never have to worry about a stuck bolt again.

Decided to get my AICS 2.0 stock Cerakoted

That looks great. Do you have hard time seeing your bubble on the right side? I'm a right handed shooter and keep mine on the left...... If it works for you leave it, but the left is easier for me to see...

6 BR Compared to the 6.5X47 Lapua.

I love the 6.5....... I shoot a 140 vld and cant say enough about it. I have wacked coyotes, deer, elk and steel out to 1400 yards and cant say enough about this thing. I shoot a 6.5x284 and not the 47L tho... I dont think you will go wrong with either, but there is just a soft spot in my...
