    Rifle Scopes Need help with scope base on 700, I am on my second one.

    Something is wrong if you cant get to zero with the 20 moa base. My guess is that its backwards..... should be sloping toward the muzzle. if that doesnt work send your scope back because thats the problem.

    Like they said.... its even easy to set up a portable loading station and do it at the kitchen table. You dont need a fancy elaborate set up to load quality ammunition.

    I like my 243 AI. have about 1000 rounds down the tube and still going strong. If you shoot a lot just expect to replace a barrel. its gonna happen.

    Help Deciding on Cartridge for Savage 110 Precision Build

    Why not keep it a 7 Mag? I have one with a 28" barrel, solid bottom bat action and I'm crankin a 180 VLD out at 2960. The gun has put up a three shot group at 1400 yards that you could cover with a dollar bill. Thats off a bipod too. Give the 7 a thought.....

    I dont use the provided BC either. Best thing to do is borrow one. You could try plugging your dope into a calculator with a 100 yard zero and data from say 500 yards..... Might get you in the ballpark, but not an exact number. Once you have your dope for the gun your velocity doesnt really...

    Sinclair bore guide with rifle cradled in a stand. Montana extreme rod and jag. NO BRUSHING!!! It is bad for your crown. I start with wipe out accelerator on a jag one caliber smaller than I'm shooting. let it soak a bit then repeat. Then I give it a shot of wipe out from the muzzle end...
