    Check out the hill people gear kit bag. It's not fantastic when you're taking layers on and off, but I think everything is a give and take when you're using a hip belt on a pack and still trying to carry a pistol.

    The long action mini chassis will accept M5 pattern DBM. My understanding is the external dimensions of the bottom metal do not change with CIP length vs standard. Jut the internal dimensions. I have an LRH with an M5 chassis that fits the hawkins M5 LA hunter just fine.

    It's been a long time since I've ran a TA31 and Peq 15 combo. I can't ever remember having an issue with it obscuring anything. Worst case it will be a little hazy in the lower edge of your FOV. We ran the TA31 with fixed front sight posts and you hardly noticed a slight blur in the image from it.
