I have used a whole different bunch of scope rings -> Badger, PRI, Murphy Precision Titanium, Near Manufacturing, Spuhr, Aad
Of these, my favorites are Murphy Precision, Near, and Spuhr.
Yes, the tool marks are normal and does not affect function. That is actually stated in the documentation that comes with the suppressor.
I was at Templar's workshop today to pick up my Ark30 suppressor. Got a chance to look at the many completed monocores lying around and all of them have...
In the other scope review, ounce for ounce, the 42mm little brother of this scope was by far the best. Can't wait to see if the larger objective of this one pulls it up there with the best rated scopes.
I have Order #808. Still haven't gotten mine. I emailed Templar and they said my Form 4 has cleared the ATF but they haven't constructed my suppressor yet. Did anyone with a higher number already receive theirs?
I run the 3-9 Accupoint with Mildot on my RFB. I like the bright clear glass and the no batteries needed illumination.
The best thing about it is its extremely light weight. Mine is paired up with a Nikon 223 mount so I can keep my overall rifle light.
Down side is the Accupoint does not...
I think the Remington version is limited to 500 yards because Tracking Point wants the 500+ yard market. I got to play with these scopes at the invitation of Remington.
Well, given the number of hits I got on my through the scope HDMR review on Youtube, the HDMR sold really well. I think Bushnell is raising the price because they've successfully establish their street cred with the original HDMR and are now charging what the market think the scope is worth to...
I don't think the Premier light tactical has the elevation adjustments for the .308 to make it to 800 plus it is hard to find now.
To me for gasser guns, it is either the Leupold 3-18x44 Mark 6 or March 3-24x44 as the only two choices in FFP. Everything else is way too long, heavy, and clunky...
I was invited onto the focus group for this scope and I got to play with it at the NRA Convention in Houston. I agree that for us here, shooting to 500 is no big deal. What it is really geared towards would be higher end hunters making shots in rougher terrain.
Most hunters only take game...
That would be a truly awesome price given the features. I took possession of my 3-24x44 FFP and the thing is the same size as my Trijicon Accupoint 3-9. However, the resolution on the March is astounding. I'm surprised I can see that clearly given the objective size.
If the 52mm has a better...
I have the March 3-24 FFP on my long range AR (24") and a March 1-10 for my 16" AR. March scopes are probably the best AR scopes since they are short and light which doesn't reduce the agility of the AR platform.
I had briefly mounted the Bushnell HDMR and took it off because it added too much...
Would it be possible to make it shorter? I'm thinking about which scope should replace the HDMR on my DTA Covert and 15" scopes are just too long and big, IMO.
How is the eyebox on it? I have the 3-24 but not the 5-40.
I saw one of these at the NRA Convention in Houston. It did look pretty nice and intriguing. One question though, how much does the objective change modules cost?
