PRS training on the cheaper side

Hornady American Gunner in the 200 round bulk, I recall its $15 per 20. My HMR pro shoots 1/2MOA with that stuff. Also get a new CZ457 American and shoot small bore silhouette that will make you better shooter.

PRS Talk Innovation killing the spirit?

Hey I just have a ball getting out and shooting our local 1 day matches. Good people, fun shooting and all good. I shoot production, 1500 in rifle 900 in scope and its mental errors that get me. Our top shooters are all great to be with and gear? I try to keep it to minimum. I have been around...

PRS Talk Innovation killing the spirit?

I have been to several 'Hunter Rifle" matches. One is at a local gun club range here in Phoenix and the other in Utah at a private range that put on several fun competitions. The hunter rifle matches here in Phoenix pretty simple straight up no one gaming it yet. The sponsors for the Utah...

    I resemble that remark.

Why are MOA guys the slowest?

B because that is how they measured out pot.

Why are MOA guys the slowest?

I am amazed how threatened the MIL's are by MOA"s. The level of inferiority equals the degree of hate dished out.

NEWB 700 SA build. Please don't hate me.

I also believe that when you zero at 100 and altitude atmospherics change from your zero day place you have less built in error than if zeroed at 300. That said not sure how big a difference it makes or how far you have to be shooting for it to add up to anything.

    outfit for Rocky Mountain Goat

Whats a long shot in BC hunting Goats? The country I am familiar with in the Rocky Mountains is that canyons are BIG if your shot is not within 400 yards then the next closest terrain is thousands of yards across big canyons?

NEWB 700 SA build. Please don't hate me.

The KRG Bravo looks good. I am also newer to this PRS game and a bit of a traditional guy when it comes to stocks. I have 2 B&C for my hunting rifles and 2 H&S Precision on another hunter and Varminter. All are bedding block rifles and the B&C rifles went without additional epoxy bedding and...

NEWB 700 SA build. Please don't hate me.

I have good results with my ballistic app when using Density Alt + app to update weather data. I have good results with StrelokPro, its not the popular app but its treated me great for a years worth of matches PRS, NRL 22 and 22 Silhouette. It also helped my son get his first deer, a 350yrd...

    outfit for Rocky Mountain Goat

My son used this load in my MOD 70 to make his first deer last NOV. It was shooting 1/2 MOA in an off the shelf rifle. He made a 350yard shot and the bullet went right where he wanted it too. Very pleased with this load.

    outfit for Rocky Mountain Goat

My experience runs from chasing Elk at elevations from 6000ft to 10000ft over rugged country and sometimes backpack hunting with a Win MOD 70 Classic 24" bl that ran somewhere between 9 to 10lbs and covering a lot of very rugged Coues Country at 5000 ft plus with a trim Rem 700 custom that...

How long would you store "match" reloads?

My only experience is with my Swiss K31 and surplus GP11 is still pretty accurate. Guessing your handholds stored in "cool dry" conditions should be ok for a couple years.
