    Who'd win?

I guess in the US you guys dont have zero to hero programmes. We have them over here where for example, I applied for but wasnt successful, but my best buddy got it, for ice hockey. For 8 months my buddy trained with the national team. He spent every minute of his weekends in the ice-rink where...

    Who'd win?

I know people love to hear/see the skilled underdog beat the rich weekend shooter with all the latest gear. But I wonder how this actually translates into the real world. I think it would make a great documentary if any of you gentlemen are in that line of work. Basically. Im talking. Take...

    Terrified of squib loads

I was going to post this in pistols but figured Id post here instead since it applies to semi-rifles and full autos (and possibly even bolt action if your're not paying attention to what your doing) I have always been conscious of shooting fast with a semi pistol incase of a squib load...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Pistol with most interchangable calibers...

Id love a glock, but a glock starts life as a centerfire.... so thats gonna cost a lot of $$$ on tax every year :( It needs to start life as a 22lr and then buy the slides seperately to keep my wallet (and missus) happy.

5.56 brass any good for 223

Just asking this for a friend. He works in law enforcement and could get up to 200 once fired cases of 5.56 every week. I know there is a difference between the 5.56 and .223 case, but given the right powder load, would it be possible to make these work?

Sidearms & Scatterguns Pistol with most interchangable calibers...

Due to work Im about to move to a new country of crap gun laws and as such I have to pay yearly fees and taxes and get a licence for every gun I own. And if its a centerfire damn Im gonna get raped on legal fees. But on the plus side I can have as many uppers/different calibers I want so long as...

    Let the panic SELLING begin!

I dont mean to keep asking the same question over and over..... but why are people suddenly selling up now? Whats changed? on a side note: I would have presumed that the average joe who bought guns and bullets in a panic will just hold onto them when the bubble bursts. I mean 1000 rounds of...

    Let the panic SELLING begin!

Forgive the ignorance, I must have been under a rock the past few weeks or so.... but whats changed? Why are people suddenly selling? Has Obama given up on his plans for a ban? Glad its over anyway. This USA $hit-storm was starting to have an impact over here in Europe. Yesterday for the first...

So hard to find reliable electronic scales.

I looked at this already. It seemed like a promising scale but the reviews arent great (17 reviews and 7 of them of under 2 stars). Amazon.com: My Weigh GemPro 250 Compact Jewelry Scale: Office Products

So hard to find reliable electronic scales.

Wow that RCBS 10-10 is quite the scale alright. I never even heard of it before but reading the reviews Im starting to second guess about going digital. If I could get a digital scales with those kinda reviews Id be sold. I have a lyman pro 500 at the minute. From the week I got it I was having...

So hard to find reliable electronic scales.

No matter what scales (electronic here folks) I look at there always seems to be a lot of people saying (amongst all the glowing reviews) that the scale is crap. Wont hold its zero, stopped working after a few months, even the replacement one broke etc. And Im not talking about el cheapo walmart...

Night Vision Recommend me a good NV scope.

Im on a budget of about $1000. Will be using it to shoot rabbits out to 100 yards. Will hopefully be putting it onto my .223 with picatinny rail with a vortex viper. Any recommendations.

    Building a backstop

Im building a backstop for my 22lr rifle. I shoot at exactly 100 meters. And 99.99999% of the time Im shooting subsonics. Maybe once every 3 or 4 years I might use a few mags of some federal bulk ammo (which is supersonic). So whats the best way to build up a backstop. I reckon at 100 meters...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Ruger Mark 3... Ruger 22/45... is there much difference between the two??

For what its worth, Im considering the 22/45 target. And then probably replace the barrel with a pac lite tactical. But Im open to suggestions.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Ruger Mark 3... Ruger 22/45... is there much difference between the two??

Everyone talks about the mark 3 being one of the best .22lrs out there but you never really hear anything about the 22/45. Is there that much of a difference between the two?

Is this a bad move? Tikka Remmy?

So any opinions at all on swopping the tikka for the remmy..?? Is it a bad move..?? EDIT: Just saw that post Hogtooth5r. Im not sure if its too good to be true. I mean my gun cost 2K new. But his Remmy cost slightly under 1K but then the chassis was just over 1K, so I suppose financially its...
