Rem700 in 308 not feeding well
Use slave pillars (without the stock obviously) to determine the correct depth by shortening them a little at a time. Match inlet to that depth. If the correct depth leads to an interference with the bottom of the action, make a longer latch- PCR

The rounded edge on the extractor is to direct the empty case at the desired angle when ejecting Edited to add Should have said this modification is done on m16 style extractors for my reason above. I assumed it’s what the op extractor is modified for- PCR

Bolt slide over Feeding issues
Your problem is the spring. Too much upward pressure and tilting the wrong way will result in the round not seating against the action feed lips. Compress the spring to reduce upward pressure and increase pressure on the rear of the cartridge is where to start. New springs can need a lot of...- PCR
