    PRC is easy, I’ve done a slew of conversions now without issue. Bolt gets machined, barrel gets rechambered. Long action bolt stop, long mag. 47 will require a set back, and a good reason.

    I’d go .280ai, or actually straight .280, and neck it to run Lapua 30-06 brass. It leaves the brass window wide open and slick feeding is a given.

    It’s probably the tenon. Flip the lug over and see if the gap swaps sides.

    After reading through this my first thought was something not right in the action or ignition. Maybe a burr hanging up the pin, something like that. Everything else seems to have been checked or swapped out.
