If anybody wants to try out a 1-6, 1-10 or Huey on their rifle, feel free! Will bring along some fixit sticks and happy to pass around the demos that Vortex sent out for the night.
Gotcha, couldn’t quite read that, thought it said “correct”. Thanks for clarifying!
Edit - it’s a bummer Photonis isn’t sending out tubes with gain tails for those BNVDs. The 14 I used to have definitely had a functional gain control.
You stated the XLS tube has a better EBI, but the specs you wrote down show it has a higher (worse) number. Maybe the Echo was actually 1.50 instead of 0.15?
Trying to get a good count for ordering dinner, so as long as you don’t mind getting shorted on the meal in case there isn’t enough extra, not a big deal.
K, crazy package just arrived from one of the vendors/contributors. Vortex sent out a bunch of stuff for giveaways/prizes and we’ve still got another box on the way with more scopes to demo with all the clip-ons. Bunch of 30% off vortex certs from EuroOptic too.
Sign up and get a piece of this!

Just broke through the 50 folks mark with signups using the form above. Let me know if anyone has any new questions. Very much looking forward to the evening!

Just got word Bering will be sending one out to us at the Nov 6 Night Shoot, so definitely looking forward to giving it a closer look. #shamelesspromo #comeoutandtouchit
Couple quick phone shots in the back yard. I really like the control knob, makes it real quick to hop through menus versus arrow buttons. Pretty impressed with the 400px sensor compared to the 640 that I have.
Can any of you folks with units in hand take pics of your setups on the gun? I’ve only seen those green backdrop ones snagged from the website. Would love to see how you’ve mounted them up on your setups, whether dedicated pic mount or objective bell clamps.
Just received one of their BTS 50s from a recent DVOR/OP sale that dropped them to a pretty compelling price. Only had a few minutes with it, but happy to look at anything closer for you. What do you want to know?
We got some really cool ones for a raffle we ran at the RSF, from Lindnerhof Taktik via the guys at Safran in the EU. Not seeing it on their online store here, but it was a pretty slick package for the Terrapin and a Kestrel to slide right in...
