    Archimedes?

I can speak somewhat to the dust situation. I quit throwing gravel in my guns when I upgraded from a Red Ryder and if it's snowing out, then I'm calling coyotes and that doesn't usually require a lot of bolt cycling. I have two Archimedes and run one in 223 and another currently with a 6x47L...

I was going to get one of their rimfire cans if they ran the deal they ran a couple of months ago for a blackfriday deal, but I don't see anything. Anyone heard anything different?

    Feeding Problems

I can just about guarantee that the Mausingfield isn't out of spec from what it was designed to be. It may be different than a R700. That's what always makes this tricky. Look at it from the bottom and see if the follower is too small to be stopped by the receiver, of it is, than you know what...

I can't say that I'm willing to try this out by dumping sand in it, but I have used it quite a bit in the wind out here in NM. The gear is actually pretty large for what it does and it's very robustly built. A grain or two of sand will be so small in relation that I don't think it would be even...

The one above has prettier leaves than I have here in New Mexico and mine has a melonited barrel, other than that, it about the same! Sorry for the crap pic but it's all I had on my phone and it's dark out!

You'll definitely like the Xylo. I have my Vudoo in one right now and it's awesome. LOP changes in seconds and a lot of useful features.

I got one of the 9mm ones like the above pictured, thinking that it was an in-stock and much cheaper option than the SiCo Omega 9k. Glad to see theory in practice.

Have a couple in time out right now, but don't have any idea how they sound. Based on the materials and volume calculations, it should sound about like a 17-4 7" can and I would be surprised if there was anyone out there not making silencers concentric and uniform to promote good accuracy when...

Mine feeds fine and ejects 97% or so with CCI SV, but the bolt close is hard due to it seating the lead on closing. It's very noticeable if you're trying to maintain sight picture. Not sure on the occasional occurrence of it not pulling the spent case from the chamber. Honestly, it's so...

American Rifle Company New Archimedes Action, New Xylo Chassis, and major Mausingfield revision

I'm pretty sure the Nuke and Arch use the same bolt head and have the same length bolt lift. I'd have to go out in the safe room to verify, but both are pretty smooth and get smoother as you run them. In my opinion the Xylo makes the Nuke package a heck of a deal.

SIG Kilo 3000BDX black edition? UPDATE

Bro's, totally don't order these. I was hunting Cape buffalo the other day in tall grass and saw some nice bulls at 40yds. I pulled them from my harness so I could count the ticks on their back before deciding which one to take and wouldn't you know it, my diopter spun and while I was fixing it...

American Rifle Company New Archimedes Action, New Xylo Chassis, and major Mausingfield revision

I've got multiples of each, but only Gen1 Nukes, and I'd have to say no way is it worth $1100 more. I bought one of my Archs for $1100. I'm sure the Gen2 is better than the ones that I have and I really like the Arch, but $1100 is too much for that upgrade. And really, this is kind of showing...

    Fortner?

That would be pretty awesome. Kind of a Fortner version of the Borden short 6 action. The crazy thing is that the bolt is really just a ball lock pin that actuates inside the action abutments and shouldn't be all that hard to make. I guess it's all about market desire though.

I hear what you're saying, but I can't use any chassis/stock and r700 trigger I have with a Tikka. I'll have to look into the SK standard. My price on CCI SV is pretty nice though.

    Fortner?

Mauser made a straight pull bolt action called the M96 for a little while in the 90's. My shooting buddy at the time had one in 270Win and it was under MOA pretty easily. Could get one of those and rebarrel to a 6BR. Not sure how the feeding would be, but it's probably a problem that money...

I've read through a ton of this thread, but could have missed it with 138 pages so far. So, I apologize if I missed this topic. Has anyone had a barrel chambered to run the CCI SV ammo. I know it's not anywhere near the stuff that most of you guys are running, and would be less accurate, but...
