    Pig 0311tripod issues

I had the same thing happen when it was brand new. I extended the legs a little quick and one went to crap. I gave them a call and they shipped out a new set and it's been working great for about 3 years and I haven't been particularly delicate with it.

Suppressors Does suppressor count as Barrel Length?

From a fair amount of testing with a Labrador, I would say that 20fps is a decent rule of thumb. I guess that would get you almost an inch back depending on caliber.

    MV Cal differences

I know that people do it all the time with success but it seems odd to me to change the factor (muzzle velocity) that you know to be true in order to true your data. B.C changes for a lot of reasons, not limited to, but including: velocity, humidity, spin rate. I would think that if you could...

American Rifle Company makes bolt heads that size as well.

    Suppressors Carbon ring?

Definitely heard of and seen carbon rings. Haven't noticed them becoming more frequent or severe with a can.

American Rifle Company New Archimedes Action, New Xylo Chassis, and major Mausingfield revision

That grip is looking good! What's the EFR type thing up front on the stock?

American Rifle Company New Archimedes Action, New Xylo Chassis, and major Mausingfield revision

I second that your barrels will head space fine on the Arch. My first Archimedes was for a 223 and after using it for a few months and having no issues whatsoever, I went and tracked down one with the 308 bolt face and put a 6x47 barrel on it. It's been perfect also. I recently bought one of...

New rifles shoots 14 mils low

How did he bore sight it? The look down the bore method? If it was a laser than I'd give that some credence, but the looking method, depending on the range could look good when it isn't. I'm not saying what I described is definitely it, but I've seen it at a public range before. Person was...

New rifles shoots 14 mils low

I think I read through the whole thread and I don't think I saw the most likely reason. Back when I had to give handies to shoe salesmen just to get enough money to eat, I used to shoot Savages. They weren't always pretty, but they usually shot pretty well, even if they wouldn't eject a spent...

Suppressors Griffin Optimus with tilt barrel piston

I have serious doubts that a 10/22 is going to cause issues. That being said, it comes with a taper mount adapter and a brake. You could throw that on the 10/22 and avoid the problem all together.

    R700 Footprints, why so many?

I have tried that set up and it fits just fine. The ejection port is larger than a Vudoo, but everything else is perfect.

Got a link for that? I did a bunch of googling and couldn't find it. Does it require a membership?

    Suppressors Accu-Washers and TBAC Brake?

I'm not TBAC, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. The problem I would have would be paying the $23. I use the ones that I get with every Griffin Armament brake and I have a lot left. I think they sell them on their site as well for $7. There's enough shims in the kit for multiple brakes.

    Building a 223 Trainer

I agree that the Accurate mags are the best I've used. You can use a chainsaw file to extend the case overall length that they will support as well. I have heard that the AI poly mags work well also, but they haven't made them in years. If you need a 1k or so pills to get you started, I have a...

    Suppressors Multi Caliber Suppressor Recc

I'm not sure why the hate for Griffin Armament. I just took apart a Paladin and a BW46 and they both seem very well finished and thoroughly engineered to me. My BW46 is a Gen1. and I have only used it on a 45acp, a 223, and a 9mm pistol so far, but it worked and sounded great on all of those. I...

Think I’ll take a step forward with the Vudoo, well 22lr anyway. Let’s try a Quad

That looks pretty wild! I'm looking forward to some range reports. Economy of scale would be a friend to all if these ever take off.
