    Yes, but this is due to pressures, not baffle strikes which is more prevalent (improper twist rates, misalignment, etc).

    I'm running a .308 can on my .223 and it sounds fine. Since the mounts are the same, I'm planning on just using a .338 can on my .308 Covert. .338 really isn't that much larger than a .30 cal hole.
