Spotters B&H sale on Kowa Genesis binoculars

B&H Photo has all or at least most all Kowa Genesis binoculars on sale now. Prices are not posted and you have to click on a link to have them send you an email with the best price. I just ordered the Genesis 8 x 42 for $300 off the normal price. Looks like the sale just started today. I was...

    Fortmeier over-the-barrel Installation for Oryx

Not sure why there'd be a problem shooting uphill? The legs lock very solidly when extended so there isn't much movement regardless of position. I've actually started using the Atlas 5H bipod on my precision rifles. It has similar features to the Fortmeier, but it locks solidly in place when you...

    Any Area419 M-Series Die users?

I measured brass sized by both the SAC and A419 dies and it measured exactly the same just below the shoulder and also at the base. The only time I had a sticky bolt was when I sized the brass a bit too long (with the SAC die). That wasn't the fault of the die - I was trying to get exactly...

    Any Area419 M-Series Die users?

Is the sticky bolt due to base to shoulder being too long? If so you could just get the A419 modular shellholder system that allows you to adjust shoulder bump - can adjust base to shoulder longer or shorter - mostly shorter. There are traditional and Zero press versions. ETA - I see you were...

    Any Area419 M-Series Die users?

I do have the older (non-modular) SAC bushing 6.5 die. I'd say they require roughly the same amount of force to size. If you already have the SAC die, I'm not sure it you'd see any improvement with the A419 die. The only advantage I can think of at this point would be the ability to finely...

    Any Area419 M-Series Die users?

I have one for 6.5 CM and have resized some fired test brass. I'll do a batch once I have enough fired brass to make it worthwhile. The test brass I resized was not annealed, but still resized easily and finished case mouth size was right on at .002" under caliber size. Concentricity of the neck...

    Chopping a die down?

Or you could get the Area419 Shellholder set that works for almost all calibers. More $$$, but will work with most all calibers. AREA 419 Shellholders

Was a bolt diameter ever mentioned? I'm trying to find a bore guide, but it would help knowing the bolt diameter.

Looking at a .300 PRC build to shoot 2000 Yards

Got lucky and my local gunsmith has a 30" 1:9 Bartlein barrel in some sort of F class profile just lying around. Diameter starts at 1.350" and tapers down to .930. I plan on using the suppressor I already have and if I don't like it I'll put a muzzle brake on it.

    Coup De Grâce Build

I'm building a 2000 yard gun with the CDG action in .300 PRC. Not much budget limitation on this one except for maybe the suppressor, but since I already own it I'm using it. CDG long action Bartlein 30" 1:9 Custom Heavy barrel MDT ACC Premier Long Action Chassis in FDE Triggertech Diamond 2...

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

I'll be building a 300 PRC rifle using the CDG. It looks like my only choices for mags are AICS, but everything I've read here says AW mags are best. How well will the CDG action feed from an AICS 300 PRC mag?

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

I finally got mine to go through after many attempts and page refreshes. I also got the odoo error and took a chance and refreshed the page (3 times) to get the payment to register with ARC. The charge to my card only went through once, but I was half expecting to end up with 4 charges. Once I...

Looking at a .300 PRC build to shoot 2000 Yards

I'm looking to build a .300 PRC precision rifle to shoot 2000 yards. I'm not fully decided on .300 PRC yet, but preliminary research is leading me in that direction. I'm wanting a caliber that will reach out, but not leave dents in my shoulder. I've never built my own rifle and I've never owned...

Rifle Scopes What anti cant device to choose

I have two M-Brace mounts, neither level was anywhere close to level in any position. The mounts are great, just not the levels.
