    Ingenuity Precision trickler

I had the same problem with kernels bouncing out of the cup with the IP trickler. I found a brass tube that fit over the end of the down spout and put a bend in it to redirect the kernels towards the side of the A419 cup. That took care of the stray kernels.

    Any Area419 M-Series Die users?

Having used both A419 and SAC dies, I'd say go with SAC.

    Imperial Graphite Neck Lube

ETA: I use it for bullet seating only and not sizing the case. Probably not what you're looking for. I dip the bullet only in the graphite and then seat it. Wipe any excess off with a paper towel after seating. 300 PRC testing a new powder charge:

    300 PRC

Yes 230 gr ATips over 77.1 gr of H1000. Frank had mentioned that my load might be too hot so I'm going to see what happens if I go with a bit less powder.

    300 PRC

Testing a reduced powder charge today. I wasn't seeing any signs of overpressure, but 2953 fps seemed like it was probably too hot even for a 30" barrel - definitely not good for barrel life. I'll need to do further testing to verify, but 76.0 grains of H1000 looks promising!

Suppressors New TBAC cans for 2024

Shot my 300 PRC rifle with the full size Magnus RR installed last weekend. Worked exactly as advertised. Very quiet and also reduced recoil quite a bit. Very happy with it! I'll try to get some video of it in action this weekend.

    300 PRC

I suppose you could use it, but why? The real advantage of heavier bullets is the higher bullet coefficient giving a flatter trajectory at long distances. A heavier bullet is also less affected by wind which is also important at long distance. The real question you should first answer is how far...

Suppressors New TBAC cans for 2024

Update: Submitted individual eform 4 on 10/9/24 and just received the approval today, 10/16/24. 7 days for approval which included a Federal holiday (Columbus Day). Perfect timing for a range trip I already have planned for this weekend.

    Ingenuity Precision trickler

As long as the IP trickler works as well or better than the current iteration I don't foresee an issue. The powder dropper just has to drop the bulk charge so as long as it's fairly consistent the trickler is what is ultimately giving the desired final accuracy.

Suppressors New TBAC cans for 2024

I ordered a Magnus RR from Mile High Shooting on 6/12/24. It arrived there on 10/9/24. By the time I get it in my hands it will be over 4 months. I was originally told it would probably arrive in June or July.

    SAC And 419 Dies

I only have the A419 6.5 Creedmoor die, but did some measurements on brass neck sizing without the mandrel installed. I use the .262 mandrel it shipped with for reference. Hornady brass sized without the mandrel measured .259 at the neck Inside Diameter. Running another piece of fired brass...
