    Berger 105 vs 109 hybrid in 6BR

Its held true for me. I’ve lost count of the lot numbers and all I’ve had to do is input chrono’d velocity. Well over 18 months (maybe longer). Obviously, test with your equipment. But it’s still working for me.

    22 dasher… should be faster???

Few things: 26” is probably what a lot are running How many rounds on barrel? If new, it will speed up a bit Some barrels are just slow. It happens

Concerns with light load? 6 Dasher

You’ll find that many (most possibly) of the top comp shooters are in the 2775 - 2850 area with BR and BR variants. And that means in the 30-32gr area. I’m running 33.3 varget in my 6gt which is pretty light as well.

What is practical advantage of sighting at 200 m?

Of course. But there is a difference between multiple ways vs the most efficient and easiest. Unless you don’t have dial-able turrets, there is no way more efficient than 100yd zero and then dialing a max point blank. Just like you can stand bladed off with a rifle on a barricade and still hit...

Good case trimmer for the money

I’m fairly sure the 21st lathe with work. At least I hope so. I ordered a holder for 300 Norma and a 30cal trimming arbor.

Need Advice on Seating Depth Results

Tubb now mounts his a certain distance away(can’t remember how much) and turns the sensitivity up. Says the POI shift goes away. But with it mounted at the specified from magneto distance, you’ll usually notice a poi change away from the bayonet (wherever you decide to orient it). Sometimes the...

Good case trimmer for the money

Have owned Giraud, Henderson, Wilson and waiting for the trimmer head for the 21st century. Sold Giraud for Henderson as it’s easier on the hands than a giraud. Likely going to sell the Henderson soon since I won’t be selling the 21st century and don’t need them both. For speed and comfort, I...

    Issues resizing Lapua Brass

For example's sake, my current batch of Hornady 6gt has a .0125-.0135 neck. Hovers around .013, but definitely has variance. To completely clean the inside and outside, I end up at .0105 neck. So about .0025 has to be cut out for a complete clean up. So I'm running about .009 clearance on a...

    Issues resizing Lapua Brass

I like it a lot. Its not heavy at all. You can run it on the kitchen table if you want. I'm not sure the weight, but you can easily pick it up with one hand. The Auto DOD has some extra parts which make the foot print larger with the controls. But still isn't going to be very big. I've been...

    Stats for velocities and groups.

With the way things are currently, whatever barrel you can find. Any of the reputable companies are good barrels. If not letting barrel cool, get everything set snd ready before chambering. Then chamber and fire quickly. If you end up having to take time to mess with rear bag and such, eject...

    Issues resizing Lapua Brass

It gets bad. I started out with a tikka and sig tango 4 with intentions of shooting factory ammo. I now have a stack of rifles, zero press, amp press, idod, and all kinds of either shit I really don’t need. Strap in and work overtime.

    Stats for velocities and groups.

Barrel temp typically only affects things if the round is left in the chamber and is allowed to heat up. Otherwise, it doesn’t do much. This is a common misconception people have and lead them to not realize their process is off a little. As an example, these were shot as fast as I could run them:
