    Im along the lines of kansas. For plinking or just for fun shooting i just load mixed headstamp. i get good enough results for me. 24.5gr of WC844 with a hornady 55gr fmj shoots 1 MOA (though usually ends up as 1.5MOA due to me) using mixed HS. Even using 77gr SMK "seconds" with 22.5gr of WC844...

    18" 223 barrel suggestions

    I have an AR-Stoner 300BLK barrel in 16". Itll shoot 1MOA. Not the best but not the worst either. For the price (200 i paid for mine) cant really complain. May upgrade in the future though but for a holder barrel they will do just fine.
