Rifle Scopes New Meopta Scope - Optika6

Hey Doug, any word on the minimum parallax setting on these? I wouldn't mind putting one on my CZ rimfires if they will focus close enough.

Rifle Scopes sightron S-Tac 4-20x50 MOA vs Midas Tac MIL 6-24x50

Has anyone made it to the Sightron booth at SHOT? The FFP S-TAC is supposed to be on display and I'm curious what people think of it.

Rifle Scopes New Meopta Scope - Optika6

They'd be smart to knock off the SKMR or EBR-7B or license an existing design. A tree reticle would be optimal as long it isn't as dense as a Horus, as would a better mil hash (like the Nightforce Mil-C).

    CZ 457

If this is the case, I wouldn't mind one of those barrels for my 455 Varmint. The 'match' chamber CZ claims they have might be a cheap way to squeeze a bit more accuracy out of the gun without committing to a Lilja barrel.

Rifle Scopes New Leupold Mark 5 models announced

You'll note that the VX-5HD's illumination is a single dot in the center of the reticle. This is probably much cheaper than fully or partially illuminating a reticle, which is why it was included in every VX-R series scope and some of the low cost Mark AR series. You'll also note that the...

Rifle Scopes Leupold Custom Shop (M1 Knobs)

IIt's amazing to me that these have existed for years, yet Leupold doesn't list them ANYWHERE on their website and the only articles about them are years old.

    Son's nrl 22 build

I was super impressed before, but reverse engineering the inlet is impressive. I know it's not hugely difficult, but it's time consuming to get just right. Very cool. Are you going to skim coat the chassis to get the bedding perfect, or are you happy with it as is?

    Son's nrl 22 build

Not only will your son's friends be jealous, but everyone at the range will be too! Did you design it from scratch or did you use an existing design as inspiration? Did you measure up the inlet from the receiver or did you find dimensions somewhere?

    What's a good starter precision 22?

I have a CZ455 Varmint and it's a very nice gun and fairly accurate. I recently upgraded to a pillar bedded Boyd's Pro Varmint/Tacticool and it's been a huge upgrade. The best groups with the Tacticool are no better than the best with the original Varmint stock, but I'm getting great groups far...

    Rifle Scopes Dot reticle?

Leupold used to offer a circle dot reticle in the illuminated VX-3 1.5-5x, but I don't think it was available in higher magnifications and the illumination wasn't Aimpoint bright anyway.

    Rifle Scopes Burris XTR3!!!

That didn't even occur to me, but yes, it would definitely be another use for the insert design. Combine that with the ability to add and subtract MOA, and you should have a very, very flexible system.

    Rifle Scopes Burris XTR3!!!

The inserts allow you to add or subtract MOA cant without having to buy a new rail or mount. The feature is big with rimfire guys who run against the limit of their scope's elevation. I'm not sure how much use it has beyond the rimfire market though.

Rifle Scopes 2.5-10 Scope Search, NF?

I have a Viper PST Gen 1 2.5-10x32. It's been mounted on my CZ455 Varmint, of all things, for a few years now. Before that it lived on my friend's 18" AR15. For the ~$500 price they sell for now, it's a very nice scope. It's not a Nightforce, but it isn't bad optically, parallax goes down to 35...

    Rimfire Rifle Photos Thread

CZ 455 Varmint in a Boyd's Pro Varmint I bought from EddieE. He had DJ pillar bed it and reinforce the fore end. Scope is a Vortex Viper PST Gen 1 2.5-10x32 in Seekins medium high rings on a DIP 25 MOA rail. The gun deserves more magnification, but it's otherwise great. I want to do some NRL22...

    Rifle Scopes Leupold VX-6HD 4-24x52mm

It makes me laugh how Leupold has a clean, minimalist tree reticle in MOA, but their in-house MIL tree reticle is a screen door like Horus knockoff. If Leupold made a MIL version of that reticle, they'd be selling a lot more Mark 5HDs.

Rifle Scopes Fare thee well S-Tac 2.5-17.5x56 I hardly knew ye

I feel like these scopes never fit in the US scope market - SFP, huge objective, illumination, hunting reticles, and ED glass are perfect for low light or night time hunting. If it was FFP and had a 44mm or 50mm objective to cut the weight a bit, it might have fit well as a crossover...

Rifle Scopes SHOT Show 2019 Releases

Leupold needs something like this badly. The only FFP option below the Mark 5HD is the VX-3i LRP, and most people wrote that off as soon as it was released. They're missing out the white hot ~$1k FFP market. I feel like 2-10x and 3-15x FFP versions of the VX-5HD would sell pretty well if it's...

Rifle Scopes Can someone compare and contrast Athlon Midas Tac 6.24x vs. Athlon Ares BTR 4.5x27?

Athlon scopes, with the exception of the Cronus which is made by LOW in Japan, are made in China.

Good feedback guys. Does anyone have pictures of their chassis setups?
