    I did see the copper wire trick.. Good idea actually, just hasn't been that bad yet for me. YET... We'll see what happens as I start using more 16.

    Couple tricks I picked up.. The overthrows are "usually" caused when the powder gets bunched up near the end of the tube, then 5-6 kernels fall when you only need 2 to hit your target weight. I set up my trickler with a spacer under the front edge, that puts the tube just slightly going up...

    This is pretty much how my 1600 is as well. Something must be up with yours. With the 2000b prices coming down, I wonder if you could talk them into an upgrade. The 2000 is great unit, easily beats the 1600

    If someone wants to send me a Nikon 4k to test with my Leica 2000, 2700 and Terrapin, I'd be happy to do so. :cool: Looks like I'm gonna be getting a Leupold 2800 to play with soon also... Although, not feeling that one is gonna be a strong player. Beam Divergence is around 1.2x1.2.

    .25" in scope height is not going to make that big of a change. You can run it in your ballistic calc. I just ran mine, it takes .50" in height to get .1 change in dope. (@1000yd) If you have a properly zero'd and properly tracking scope, something else is happening. Check your ballistic...

    Another vote for the Feisol 3372 and RRS Leveling Base. Very light weight and Extremely stable. I carry mine hunting and use it a lot.

    All LRFs suffer some performance loss in poor vis, be it rain, snow or fog.. At typical bow range, you should be fine.

    You can do a lot with dry fire and 100yds. Natural point of aim, breathing, trigger press and follow thru.
