    Depend on the ride action and it’s lift angle. Most of European rifle with 60 degree lift has no issue with the zoom lever.

    Rifle Scopes Bushnell Elite - 40mm vs 50mm

    I actually own 2 et6245f. The ffp, mil/mil, glass clarity and click are worth the extra $400 if you have it. I find the illumination function is not needed in 95% of the time. Just nice to have. Just like others said, they are from 2 diff lines for diff purposes and price point.

    Rifle Scopes At what mag is adjustable focus/parallax necessary?

    It is the distance you are shooting matter. If ther is a chance you are shooting less than 50 yd, side focus/ parallax adjustment is really nice. Please add additional benifits too.

    Steyr SSG08 308 in 6.5x47 L. ??

    I have no problem w ssg04 stock. Some feel it is too flexible. I get my sub moa on cheaper match ammo any day. Take that back. I had 1 minor issue w my stock. It came w butt pad very tight. I had to hit it to get it to move. Everything on my 004 is just simple and elegant.

    I have a steyr ssg04. Basically 08 is the same gun with much much nicer stock. Steyr build their gun to shoot right out of box. So, if you need anything work on it, not many gun smith I know knows how to work on one. I know one name Jeff Reece and he is always busy as hell.

    I go with 223 tikka. Just ammo is easier and cheaper to find. With your wife shooting it too, she will like it better. Also, 223 is good for 200 yd and under any day except in a storm.
