What safe company do you trust most?

I have a lower end Amsec and its a solid interim RSC for right now. It gives me a little piece of mind, but, I also realize its not going to do much for a determined intruder. When I can build my forever house, it will have a pad for a proper safe.

    IT'S NOT A CRISIS

May be the fault of the folks who took out loans, but when the majority start to default or just walk away from the loans, thats now the American public's problem. The govt did a great job of messing that up.

    Packs/Bags/Backpacks for PRS/Matches/Local Range Use

I have been using a eberlestock half track for my local day matches, so far so good. I do not attach the rifle to it, matches are not held at large areas so walking between stages is very limited.

What gear will help me the most in prs

Ok, I should have clarified, if one is good with prone shooting (as many folks are) stop wasting bullets proving what one already knows. Thats all. I stopped shooting prone and switched to positional stuff that I needed help with.

What gear will help me the most in prs

Practice. And don't practice prone stuff. Force yourself to tackle the lousy positional stuff

    6mmCreed for the wife?

Mine was ~3064fps with Hornady black box stuff with a 26in barrel. I really enjoy my 6cm, rifle weighs ~20lb and its a joy to shoot. Its my first foray into the 6mm world so I am sure there are better options overall, but so far, I have no complaints bout my pick.

Why the Gradual Shift in Cartridge for PRS

I shoot a 6cm and load it fairly tame, current avg mv is 2925. So far, at ~1000 rounds thru barrel and still going strong. Makes for a very nice shooting rifle off barricades etc. Rifle will out shoot me, so no sense in chasing velocity.

    Shooting in rain

I wear a hailey hansen coat, pants and some muck boots if its gonna be super rainy, so far been good at keeping me dry. Make sure you bring stuff to keep your glass dry and action clean.

    PRS Talk Brake vs Suppressor

Shot a match over the weekend with rifle being required to be in a tube, can you guess which shooters came out of that unhappier than others? But, can now say I know how it feels to be inside a suppressor, so theres that.

Just how bad are the current R700s

I have bought two stripped 700 actions in the past few years, one is SS and the other is blued. Both shoot great and cycle smooth. One has a criterion and the other Mcgowan barrel on it. For what I use em for, they work, no complaints on function. That being said, the blued action is covered...
