    I think their new guns ( at least the Alpha 1's ) are 8x40 from the factory. They may have standardized on that thread size / pitch on everything by now. Might check that. Good luck.

    Mine have always been visible at 1X. I just look past / through it towards the target and don't really notice it. I guess his mileage may vary 🤷‍♂️.

    I agree with Wyfox - all collectability ( and therefore big money ) was gone when it became sporterized. The Lyman is collectible - but as it sits - you're probably looking at about $250 or so.

    Maybe using a PhoneSkope with your Iphone. Used to use one with a thermal for nighttime stuff. Best of luck. Hope your retina detachment can be fixed.
