    Heading out to Gunsite AZ, for the ELR course. Of course I forget the bore guide :( Saw a YouTube video of a guy making 2707y shot with the 338. Doubt I'll get that but stoked to take this out to a mile, maybe more.

    Dude! I think you're on to something! Dunno how it could be attached though, would have to take apart the chassis to make it look good.

    I had the same dilemma last month when I got my srs. Just know, that you can get the covert fore end and change them out. I went with the SRS as I'm going for distance now. I will get the covert fore end when I start getting shorter barrels for the majority of the time.

    I'll be shooting 338 Prime 300gr HPBT, for a Gunsite extreme long distance class. It said out to 2km, but I'm sure that's for the 50 cals, and the 338 won't reach that. Looking to be able to use the same mount for short 308 and 6.5 with a covert as well.

    Following! Hopefully this will lead to an MDR type style suppressor fore end that allows a rails to go around the suppressor. I'm dreaming, most likely since the top rail is already close to the barrel... maybe small calibers...

    What break in process were you going with? I did the Tubbs Final Finish with my 308 Ruger RPR... that took a VERY long time! Especially with mixing it with the cleaning procedure after each round.

    I'm guessing you ordered the Gen 1 knob? When I select the gen 2 knob it has said out of stock for past few months. :( I've emailed them and haven't heard anything back. Think I'll go with Phoenix Custom Rifles, was told to just send them my bolt and $40 will get my knob back in a week...

    Anyone else get a custom bolt knob? I was hoping to get one that Snipe Custom Arms has, but haven't gotten any response back from them. Phoenixcustomerifles.com has responded and said I could send them my bolt and they'd make one for $40, and it looks nice.

    Wasn't there someone/company selling after market cheek pads for our SRS? I forgot where I saw it but it looked like a foam pad or something with adhesive.
