    Share a long range 30-06 load please?

    Thanks for all the tips Guys! Isnt RL22 very temp sensitive? I seem to remember a while ago I loaded some 270 Weath Mag to hunt with in IL (40-50 dgrees) , and flew down to Texas where it was about 30-40 degrees hotter, and I got some very sticky bolt lift.

    Share a long range 30-06 load please?

    I just aquired a pre-64 mod 70 in 30-06, in very nice shape and would like to work up some good 600yd loads. I have a bunch of 175 SMKs, and almost every rifle powder known to man, and several different LR primers. Can you share a few loads to help me get started? Thanks !

    Any good loads for S&W's new M&P10 yet?

    I just bought this rifle, its a 308, and has a 18" 5-R barrel. I was wondering where to start with loads. Hmmmm, so many choices....I have 175SMKs, LC brass and most powders. Any help would be appreciated!

    MR2000 load question

    We are talking 308 Win loads here, correct? Have you guys noticed if this powder gives higher velocity numbers generally, than other powders?

    N140 would be a great candidate right now. It works wonderfully, and is pretty easy to get right now.

    77gr. smk powder recommendation.

    Has anybody tried Alliant's MR2000 with the 77? It's supposed to give 100-150 fps faster speeds with heavier bullets. I'd like to hear it from some consumers before I believe it though.

    Rem 700 5r 24 in. barrel

    Do any of you feel that your factory stock 5R barrel gives you lower than normal velocities? Mine seems about 75fps or so slower than everyone elses barrel, using the same loads.

    Great idea! Do I need any special tools to switch the barrel? Go & no go guages, Barrel vice, wrench of some kind?

    Which 223 bolt rifle for long range?

    I'm looking for a bolt rifle in 223 Rem to shoot at 600+ yds. I'm using 77 and 80grn Sierra bullets. Is there a good shootin' "reasonably" priced rifle out there? All the less expensive Savage and Remingtons I've seen have slow twist barrels. Please help. Thanks!

    2000-MR Powder

    Re: 2000-MR Powder I just got 8lbs. (yes, it was in stock!) I gotta give this stuff a try. I have a stock Rem 5-R that shoots every load a lot slower than everyone else's rifle. It's accurate, but slow!
